Design Engineer (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

• Development and design of machines and systems, taking into account specific customer requirements and applicable standards
• Creation of 3D models, technical drawings, bill of materials, and layouts using Autodesk Inventor
• Conducting strength and feasibility analyses (including simulation where applicable)
• Collaboration with internal teams and external partners to coordinate design details and changes
• Technical documentation
• Consideration of manufacturing and assembly aspects during the design process
• Recording and documentation of design changes

What you bring to the table

• Completed technical training or a degree in mechanical engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Experience in the design of machinery and equipment
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or comparable 3D CAD software
• Extensive experience in welding and sheet metal fabrication, ideally with formal training in welding
• Knowledge of strength calculations and simulation
• Proficiency in working with technical drawings, standards, and guidelines
• Ability to work well in a team, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently
• Good written and spoken German and English
